pour yourself a glass, and stay a while…

My wines are labeled as “red,” “white,” and “rosé” to allow for maximum flexibility. In the future, these broad labels give me the opportunity to choose the highest quality fruit destined to make the best wine, regardless of variety. But it’s also about accessibility; the Las Espinas wines are a pure and simple pleasure meant to be enjoyed by anyone, at any moment—let’s not overthink things. I hope every bottle is savored in the same spirit of playfulness and spontaneity in which it was made.

white wine

Brimming with zesty acidity and ripe citrus, our white wine will quench your thirst and pique your appetite. Made from 100% Verdelho, this bottle smells like slushy frozen lemonade, ocean foam, and crystallized grapefruit. Notes of crunchy peaches and tinned mandarin slices dissolve in a clean, green, saline finish. A versatile wine to pair with your first meal outdoors of the season..and all the ones that follow.

red wine

A bright, tangy red with all the juiciness of a ripe pomegranate, our varietal Carignan glows with a quick chill and a little air—bistro-style. Aromas of strawberry jam, sweet anise, and sage-smoke rise freely. On the palate, notes of dill pollen and cold cherry juice are balanced by fine, dusty tannins and a finish like a good kiss—soft, lingering. Pair with a perfectly roasted chicken, and a lover.

rosé wine

Our rosé is a dry yet luscious wine of dangerous drinkability. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Counoise, this bottle smells of hibiscus agua fresca and watermelon lollipop. Generously textured but delicately flavored, notes of guava nectar and white flowers slide across a palate soft as sun kissed shoulders. Pair with a wrap-around porch, an empty calendar, and a head full of daydreams.
